BharatLaw.ai Review (2026): Pricing, Features, Pros & Cons
Our verdict
BharatLaw.ai is the simplest to budget for — a free tier with real AI search and a flat ₹2,000 a month, no credits. It has the smallest corpus here, no citator, and no published security certification, so pair it rather than rely on it.

About BharatLaw.ai
BharatLaw.ai does AI legal research over more than a million Indian judgments from courts and tribunals. Its useful differentiator is granularity: alongside a proprietary relevance ranking, it produces AI case summaries that condense a judgment to under a page, paragraph-level summaries, and extraction of the relevant Acts and Sections. For brief-writing, being handed the specific paragraph and the statutory provisions is more immediately usable than a whole-judgment summary.
The pricing is the simplest here and that is a real virtue. The free plan is ₹0 and includes AI-assisted search, paragraph summaries, a basic research book and basic case management — actual AI search, not a teaser. Ultimate is a flat ₹2,000 a month, adding advanced AI generation, AI-assisted relevancy generation, enhanced facts and judgement short summaries, with a seven-day free trial. No credits, no metering, no working out what an "AI word" is worth. Against Niyam's credit system or LegalDeskAI's word allowances, a flat monthly fee makes budgeting trivial.
The limitations are about depth and assurance rather than usability. The corpus is the smallest of the Indian tools here — over a million judgments against Indian Kanoon's 30 million-plus and CaseMine's full High Court and tribunal coverage. We found no citator: nothing flags whether a judgment has been overruled or negatively treated, which CaseMine and Niyam both do and which matters more than any summarisation feature.
More significantly for anyone handling privileged client material, we found no published security certification — no SOC 2, no ISO 27001 anywhere on the site. That is a fair objection to raise with the vendor before uploading case files. There are also small maintenance signals: the pricing link in the site's own navigation is broken, and the footer still reads 2025.
Useful as a cheap, predictable second research tool. Not the one to rely on alone for checking whether your authority still stands.
