New Year Prompt for Gemini: 12 AI Photo Ideas for 2027

Indians look for New Year prompts by person and year: "new year prompt 2026 gemini", "2026 girl", "2026 men". The copy-paste pages that answer those searches leave out the parts that cause trouble: the face that stops looking like you, the year that comes out misspelt, and the watermark you can't remove.

These 12 prompts are written for 2027 and grouped the way people search: boys, girls, couples, family and greeting cards. Each new year prompt follows Google's published advice for its image model. We wrote them from that guidance and haven't tested them on your photo, so expect to try two or three before one lands.

How to use a New Year prompt in Gemini

1. Open the Gemini app or gemini.google.com and sign in. "To generate and edit images, you must be 18 or over," Google's help page says.
2. Upload one clear, front-facing photo in good light, with no heavy filter.
3. Paste a prompt from this page and send it.
4. If the face drifts, don't keep editing that image. Start a new chat and upload the original again.
5. Download the result. Google says images download at 2K with a Google AI plan and at 1K without one.

The one line that protects your face

End every prompt with a line telling Gemini what must not change. Google's developer guide warns that a character's features can "begin to drift after many iterative edits", and its prompting tips say a "narrative, descriptive paragraph will almost always produce a better, more coherent image" than a list of keywords. So each prompt below describes a full scene and closes with this:

Turn the uploaded photo into a New Year greeting card. Why the "2027" lettering comes out wrong

AI image tools often garble text, so read every word and digit before you share a card. Keep the lettering short and put it in quotation marks in the prompt, as above. If you have a Google AI plan, Google says you can redo an image with Nano Banana Pro when you need more detail, with the Gemini model set to Pro. Do Gemini New Year photos have a watermark?

Yes, in India. Google says the setting to hide the visible watermark appears only with an AI Ultra subscription here, and that otherwise "you'll automatically see visible watermarks applied to all visual media you create with Gemini Apps", per its watermark page.

Describe one complete scene, including place, outfit, light and mood, and end with a line telling Gemini to keep your face exactly as it is. Google says full descriptive paragraphs work better than lists of keywords.

Is the Gemini New Year photo free?

Yes, you can make images on the free plan, with limits that Google doesn't publish as a fixed number. Downloads are 1K on the free plan and 2K with a Google AI plan.

Why does Gemini change my face?

Repeated edits on the same image make features drift, according to Google's developer guide. Start a new chat, upload the original photo again and use a prompt with a clear keep-my-face line.

Can I remove the Gemini watermark in India?

Only with an AI Ultra subscription, according to Google's watermark page. On other plans the visible watermark stays on images you create.

Can I use these prompts in ChatGPT?
