Plus AI Review (2026): Pricing, Features, Pros & Cons
Our verdict
Plus AI builds decks inside Google Slides and PowerPoint rather than exporting to them, which is the whole case for it if your company has a template everyone must use. From $10 per user monthly billed annually, on credits, with a seven-day trial and no free plan.

About Plus AI
Plus AI is an extension for Google Slides and PowerPoint that creates, edits and reformats presentations in the tool you already use. That is the whole argument for it. Gamma, Beautiful.ai and Canva Magic Studio all ask you to build the deck somewhere else and export it, which means the formatting you inherit is theirs and the file your colleagues open is a conversion. Plus AI edits the real thing.
If your organisation runs on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and particularly if there is a corporate template everybody has to use, that distinction decides the question on its own. An exported deck that loses the template is more work than no AI at all.
Pricing runs on credits and four tiers, all billed per user. Basic is $10 a month billed annually ($15 monthly) with 1,500 credits, and covers creating presentations, inserting slides and rewriting content. Pro at $20 ($25 monthly) doubles credits to 3,000 and adds document uploads, AI image generation and unlimited team members. Team at $30 ($40 monthly) gives 6,000 credits with custom branding, advanced image models and shared presets. Max is $200 a month ($240) for unlimited credits. Enterprise adds SSO and onboarding at a quoted price.
The friction is the credit model. Credits make cost hard to predict before you have used the thing for a month, and the jump from $30 to $200 to escape them is steep. There is no permanent free plan either: all paid plans begin with a seven-day trial carrying 1,000 credits, so you get a week to work out whether your usage fits a tier.
Worth comparing directly against SlidesAI, which does a similar job in the same two apps with a genuinely free tier and simpler per-presentation limits. Plus AI is the more capable of the two; SlidesAI is the one you can try indefinitely without paying.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Plus AI cost?+
Basic is $10 per user a month billed annually ($15 monthly) with 1,500 credits; Pro $20 ($25) with 3,000; Team $30 ($40) with 6,000; and Max $200 ($240) with unlimited credits. Enterprise is quoted separately.
Does Plus AI have a free plan?+
No. All paid plans start with a seven-day free trial including 1,000 credits, but there is no permanent free tier. SlidesAI offers one if that matters to you.
Why use Plus AI instead of Gamma?+
Plus AI edits your actual Google Slides or PowerPoint file, so corporate templates and colleague compatibility survive. Gamma builds the deck in its own environment, which is better if you are starting from nothing and worse if you have a template to honour.
