Climate FieldView Review (2026): Pricing, Features, Pros & Cons
Our verdict
Climate FieldView is the established farm data platform for mechanised row-crop operations, with a real $0-a-year Basic tier and Bayer behind it. It needs yield-monitor machinery, and we could not confirm it is sold in India — the India page shows only a holding notice.

About Climate FieldView
Climate FieldView is Bayer's farm data platform. It pulls satellite imagery, weather, planting data and yield-monitor output from farm machinery into one dashboard, then produces variable-rate seeding prescriptions ("seed scripts"), field-region reports, yield analysis and image-enhanced scouting. It is aimed at mid-to-large mechanised row-crop operations and the dealers who advise them, not at smallholders.
Pricing is published, which is rare here. Basic starts at $0.00 a year and covers online support and the data inbox. Plus starts at $649 a year and adds seed scripts, field region reports, yield analysis and grain futures. Prices are billed annually, and the vendor notes the content is subject to change. The $0 Basic tier is a genuine perpetual free plan rather than a trial, which is worth knowing even if the useful features sit above it.
Its real strength is machine integration: the vendor claims compatibility with most equipment types across more than 60 integration partners, and being Bayer-owned means it is unlikely to disappear. If you run yield-monitor-equipped machinery and want planting, yield and imagery in one place, this is the established option.
Two things disqualify it for most readers of this page. First, it requires compatible farm machinery with yield monitors, which excludes the overwhelming majority of Indian farms. Second, and more importantly, we cannot confirm it is sold in India at all: the India page on climate.com resolves but serves only a holding notice saying the site experience is being enhanced, with no product and no pricing. Treat India availability as unconfirmed until Bayer publishes something there.
There is also a market-retreat signal worth noting: Bayer has discontinued FieldView in the United Kingdom. A platform withdrawing from markets is a different risk profile from one expanding into them, and at roughly ₹57,000 a year the Plus tier is far outside smallholder range regardless.

Frequently asked questions
Is Climate FieldView available in India?+
We could not confirm it. The India page on climate.com resolves but serves only a holding notice with no product information and no pricing. Treat availability as unconfirmed.
Is Climate FieldView free?+
There is a Basic plan starting at $0.00 a year covering online support and the data inbox. The features most people want — seed scripts, yield analysis, region reports — need Plus at $649 a year.
What equipment does Climate FieldView need?+
It is built around data from farm machinery, including yield monitors, and the vendor claims compatibility with most equipment types across more than 60 integration partners. Without that machinery most of the value is unavailable.
