Agrio Review (2026): Pricing, Features, Pros & Cons
Our verdict
Agrio is the most feature-complete diagnosis app here, and the only non-Indian one offering Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It publishes no pricing at all, which makes it impossible to compare on cost before you install it.

About Agrio
Agrio combines photo-based plant disease, pest and deficiency identification with a layer most diagnosis apps lack: a predictive regional alert system that warns you before a disease or pest is expected to reach your area. Around that it adds satellite vegetation monitoring, plot-level hyperlocal weather with growing-degree-days and chill hours, pest life-cycle modelling, and voice-entered geotagged scouting reports so field staff do not have to type.
Pricing is the problem. The app is free to download with in-app purchases, but Agrio publishes no price list anywhere we could reach — its pricing page returns a 404, and the satellite imagery is sold in unnamed packages. We have therefore left the price blank rather than repeat a figure we cannot verify. What the vendor does publish is the top package's imagery resolution: daily three-metre scans.
Language support is its strongest India argument. The vendor site offers thirteen interface languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu — the only non-Indian tool in this category with Indian-language coverage. Engagement also looks healthier than its peers: 4.2 stars from roughly 4,820 reviews against 5 lakh-plus downloads is a far better ratio than the download-heavy, review-light alternatives.
Two cautions. Identification reliability is disputed in the same way Plantix's is: a prominent review reports three clear photos from a current-generation phone producing three failures, and complains it could not identify a common indoor plant. And the product's focus is drifting away from farming — Agrio has launched GardenDream, a generative-AI landscape design tool, which is not agriculture at all. The vendor positions the app for "home growers, gardeners, farmers, crop advisors and agronomists", and serving all five well is a lot to ask of one app.
Practically, Agrio suits a crop advisor or a larger grower who wants prediction and satellite data in one place, more than a smallholder who needs one free answer about one sick plant.
