AI Song Generator Hindi Free: Which Tools Actually Sing It

Only one free AI song generator officially lists Hindi: Google's Gemini app, whose Lyria 3 model makes 30-second songs with cover art for users 18+. Suno's free plan gives 50 credits a day but no commercial rights and no documented Hindi support, and Udio has switched off downloads.

In wedding season, the requests for an AI song generator in Hindi get specific: a sangeet number with the couple's names, a birthday song for a parent, a jingle for a shop's Instagram reel. Search suggestions run from "ai song generator hindi free" to "with vocals" and "from lyrics", and most lists that come back are written for English songs.

So we checked the main tools' own pages on 2 November 2026 for three things that matter in India: does the tool officially support Hindi, what does the free plan really give you, and can you use the song on YouTube or Instagram. The answers are less generous than the ads suggest.

AI song generator Hindi support at a glance

Tool Hindi officially listed? Free allowance Download on free Commercial use on free
Gemini (Lyria 3) Yes Limits not published; 30-second tracks MP3, or MP4 with cover art Not stated
Suno No language list published 50 credits a day 7 lifetime trial downloads No
Udio No language list published 10 credits a day, 100 a month Downloads disabled Moot
ElevenLabs Music Not on its language list 11 minutes a month Its pages disagree Yes, with credit, but not on streaming services

1. Gemini app: the only one that says it sings in Hindi

Google added its Lyria 3 music model to the Gemini app in February 2026, and its announcement lists Hindi among eight languages, alongside English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese, "for all users 18+". You describe the song you want, and the app makes a 30-second track with its own cover art. Google's help page says that for a full track of about two to three minutes, you switch the model to Pro.

You can download the result as an MP3, or as an MP4 video with the cover art, which suits a WhatsApp status or a reel. Every track carries an embedded SynthID watermark, Google says, and Lyria is "designed for original expression, not for mimicking existing artists", so don't expect it to copy a famous singer's voice.

The catches: Google says only that "there are limits" on how many tracks you can make, without numbers, and that Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers get higher limits. It doesn't say on these pages whether you can use the tracks commercially, so for a monetised video, check Google's terms first. Indian students can get Google AI Plus free for a year until 31 December 2026.

Suno's pricing page gives free users 50 credits a day, which renew daily, and its help centre says free songs are for "personal, non-commercial use" and can't be monetised, though you can share them with a Suno link. Downloads are now tight: the pricing page lists "No monthly song downloads" on the free plan, and the help centre says each free account gets up to 7 lifetime trial downloads, which don't reset.

On Hindi, Suno publishes no list of supported languages, so it doesn't promise Hindi vocals or correct pronunciation. If you try it, write the lyrics in Devanagari, keep lines short, and listen for mispronounced words before you share. Paid plans start with Pro at $8 a month; Suno shows no rupee price. Our guide to using AI music commercially explains what Suno's paid licence covers.

3. Udio: you can make songs, but can't download them

Udio's free plan still gives 10 credits a day, capped at 100 a month, and each generation makes two songs. But after its partnership with Universal Music Group, its help centre says that "downloading of audio, video, and stems has been disabled." Until that changes, Udio is a place to listen, not a tool for a song you want to post. Our Suno vs Udio comparison has the background.

4. ElevenLabs Music: the most permissive free terms, but no Hindi listed

ElevenLabs' music model lists "English, Spanish, German, Japanese and more", and its India music page doesn't name Hindi either, so treat Hindi vocals as untested. Its free plan includes 11 minutes of music generation a month. Its model terms, updated on 9 October 2026, are unusually generous for a free plan: commercial use is allowed online and offline, except in film, TV, radio and games, as long as you credit Eleven Music, but distributing the songs to streaming services is prohibited. On downloads, its terms and its September launch blog disagree, so check what your account allows before relying on it.

Can you put an AI song on YouTube or Instagram in India?

Yes, with three conditions.

  1. The tool's licence must allow it. Suno's free songs can't be monetised; Gemini doesn't say; ElevenLabs allows it with credit.
  2. Disclose it on YouTube. YouTube's policy says "We require creators to disclose AI-generated or altered content that seems realistic", and lists AI-generated music among its examples. Repeatedly failing to disclose can lead to removal or suspension from the YouTube Partner Program.
  3. Don't clone a real singer's voice. India's IT Rules, in force since 20 February 2026, cover AI audio that could pass for a real person, and platforms must label it. In our reading, an original AI song is unlikely to fall under that, but one imitating a known singer's voice is exactly what the rules target. Our explainer on India AI regulation covers the rules in full.

Tips for a better Hindi AI song

  • Write the lyrics yourself, in Devanagari, if the tool lets you enter lyrics. You control the words, names and spellings, and the tool doesn't have to guess at Hindi from a prompt.
  • Keep lines short and rhythmic. Four- to six-word lines are easier for any model to fit to a melody.
  • Name the mood and instruments, for example "dholak, harmonium, celebratory wedding song", rather than a famous singer or film.
  • Generate a few versions and pick one. Free credits reset daily on Suno and Udio, so spread attempts across days.
  • Listen for pronunciation of names and longer words before sending it to the family group.

Google's Gemini app is the only one we found that officially lists Hindi. Its Lyria 3 model makes free 30-second songs with cover art for users aged 18+, with higher limits on Google AI plans.

Can Suno make Hindi songs?

Suno doesn't publish a list of supported languages, so it doesn't promise Hindi. Its free plan gives 50 credits a day, but songs are for personal, non-commercial use and you get only 7 lifetime trial downloads.

Can I use an AI-generated song on YouTube?

Only if the tool's licence allows it, and you should disclose it: YouTube requires creators to label realistic AI-generated content, including AI music. Suno's free songs can't be monetised; check its paid plans' terms, from $8 a month.

Why can't I download songs from Udio?

Udio disabled downloads of audio, video and stems after its partnership with Universal Music Group, according to its help centre. You can still create and listen to songs on its site.

For a short clip, the Gemini app: it officially supports Hindi and makes a 30-second song with cover art you can download as an MP3 or MP4. For a full-length song, Google's help page says to switch the model to Pro, which makes tracks of about two to three minutes.
